Default I sold my old V*rg*n smart card

Hi, PLEASE help

I am a genuine V*rg*n customer and recently got my new updated smart card however I sold my old one and I figured they would re-write it but I am concerned now to know if it will affect my bill/connection, I read on here that the talk back is disconnected so I am hoping that means they cannot use paid for tv like the premium film packages and sports events.

Can the old card affect me in anyway or will it be totally re-written and not matter ?

Thanks in advance

No I didn't give him a PIN.

Thank f*ck for that because it is in my girlfriends name and it would cause world war 3 if the bill came in at a ridiculous amount

Thanks

It's a bit late worrying now. You sold a card that didn't belong to you. Tough if something happens and it costs you money.

if i were you i'd just hope that whoever you sold the card too doesn't have the brains to reset the password which to be frank is a peice of ****, they all have the same default code to reset incase you forget them. am i not rite in thinking that the box and card are paired so i dont really see how it would work in someone elses box anyway, unless again he has the brains to change the box key on the card to match his, and as was already posted that card you sold will be obselete soon anyway.

The pin is relatively easy to change anyway so is actually pretty irrelevant.

Any purchase which relies on the old NVOD type system (yes, there are still a few incl some of the porn stuff) may still be possible so will eat into the £30.00 credit that is normally available on a card.

In practice though, its fairly unlikely that this kind of thing will occur, mostly because the vast majority of people dont seem to have the required fairly simple knowledge of the encryption system.
