Hi newbe here.needing some help with an ambit 256 haxoware,i`ve been trying quite a few macs,some times when i put them in and reboot the send and the recv lights stay on but cant get online,other times with other macs the recv light stays on send light blinks and cant get online.had a mac but was v v v slow but theres nothin now.any help wud be v greatful.cheers

Just keep trying macs even if you get a 2 mb mac keep it and dont turn off modem as it will go off and not come back on as a lot of people are having a problem getting online... 2mb is better than nowt...

Thanks 4 that mate.a 2mg one wud do fine just cant seem to get 1 to connect?is there any way i can tell which 1 will work in my area (leven,fife)?and what 1 it is 2mg,10mg,!,! ?or is it just pot luck?thanks again m8.

only try macs starting with : 00:40, 00:08, 00:20, 00

0 and change the BPI to DOCSIS 1.0 in Haxo GUI, its only these macs really working now

is it just a case of puttin the new hfc mac in and savin then reboot`n?cheers

are you using the Haxo mac changer app? nice,quick and simples no friggin about with haxo gui

i have no clue 2 b honest,got the modem workin with the 2 mg,but it went off,i was told 2 go into the modem 192.168 and change the hfc mac then save and reboot!it is haxow v 1.1 rev 31.cheers m8

just download `haoxoware mac changer` it is a app available in a download section somewhere makes changing the macs less of a hassle
