hi
av senders work fine on max ,you have a cable running upstairs so all you need is a remote extender something like the pyramid ,one device upstairs the other downstairs just transmits your remote signal and blast it out to max and changes channel alex |

Hi
no any remote extender will work ok ,try argos they have some cheap , regarding tw boxes any AV will work but won't transmit the remote signal ,there is av sender that does its called digisender gold over £100 ,but you can connect up to 4 devices to it .problem with av senders is they use 2.4 ghz same as wireless broadband so your or neighbours wireless network could cause problems alex alex |

POWERMID XL Wireless Infra-red remote controller extender system transmits your infrared remote control signals via a wireless transmitter to a receiver which then sends them out as infrared again to any equipment in the room. ![]() POWERMID system Allows you to operate ALL* Infra-Red Remote Controlled Equipment from ANYWHERE in your house. (It does not send picture or sound. You need a cable or a Videosender for that). More versatile than the TV Link. POWERMID XL includes both transmitter and receiver. Both units have a 230v mains power connection lead with UK plug. (Plug can be removed for Europe). Dimensions approx.: 75mm x 75mm x 110mm high. More details * Not some cable boxes. WARNING: The POWERMID XL can interfere with the operation of systems such as the ADT wireless security alarm! POWERMID XL remote control system £34.95 I have a set of these an ex display set can do you for £22 delivered might be a couple of scratches on them but maybe not but never been used alex Qty |
