Default hitachi problem

hey guys got an xbox with a hitachi drive its got ixtreme 1.4 on but latley iv been having a bit of a problem all my old games say up to bad company 2 work but anything newer than that all i get is the open tray message just wondered if you had any ideas if an update was in order to 1.5 or something

Get your drive flashed with iXtreme 1.51 (the current latest firmware for Hitachi drives). It will boot any game you throw at it because it has waveless booting, however you will not be safe on XBox Live.

ok but do i have to reset to stock firmware first? also does anyone know how to load jf on windows 7 64-bit? iv looked everywhere and cant find anything

You do have to flash back to the original firmware first, sorry not sure about windows 7 64 bit even though my computer is the same i havent flashed a xbox for well over a year now

ok i got it sorted i went on irc through jf and got what i needed only to find out i had it all the time lol thanks for the help anyway guys
