Default Accessing DBox through yWeb

Hey, just wondering if anyone can help me out with a strange problem. I have just flashed my Sagem DBox and my remote is no longer working. I have narrowed it down to the fact that I must have damaged the IR Board when I opened the cover to check the chips. Anyway, I had previously accessed the DBox through http'ing in yWeb and could use that programs 'Remote' feature to access the DBox's menus. However, after the flash I can no longer access the DBox this way and I'm wondering if the flash may have changed the box's IP address?? As my remote isn't working I can't access the menu's to rescan for channels and if I were able to access them through yWeb I could rescan no problem. Any ideas??

Yep, flashing your DBox has changed the IP address. Check the readme.txt with the image or go to the site you got the image from you may be able to find out the default IP address and access it through the web.
You may be able to check your router information and find the IP that way.

Cheers mate. I actually found a post by Darrenm72 where he gave his image names and their IP addresses (located here - dbox ip adress). I flashed with one of those and right away I was able to access through yWeb. Thanks a lot for the post. I would've been lost if it wasn't for the info from users on this forum.

This isn't the thread to be discussing Linux boxes with a card slot that are capable of sharing their resources with other similar setups.

Now I don't take kindly to being called a nob but I'm sure if you PM'd me you'd get the links to the sites where this sort of thing goes on.

Or you could do the background work yourself. It's all out there.

I give no guarantees as to what you will be able to get though and its not a straightforward flash n go solution.
