Default which way now?

hi, 5 years of great service from eurovox - what now?
after searching around the forum it seems the KV A780 is the easiest option - is this right? am i right in thinking all i do is buy the box, link it to a permanent ethernat connection, link it to cable connection. is there anything else i have to do except flash the box?

What about the satellite option? i have an old s*y dish on side of house. i know it is a harder option but i am willing to learn if it is better

any help would be appreciated.

I'm talking A780 on cable

Yes honest it is.

- .1. first flash from FTA to *.bin is with a ' null modem cable ' just like the box you used to have
- - - any / all subsequent updates are done from the remote control menu
- .2. then follow the you tube destructions
- .3. basically flashit / scanit / watchit my friend

NOTE you will need (1) the permanent cable feed just the same as your old box and (2) a permanent internet conection and it just works.

get the hd combo box from starview...
its good and not too expensive and it works very well, and is as easy if not easier then the a780 to set up.

i did it in 5 minutes! straight from the box.
and u get the hd channels too
