Default choosing Satellite or Cable receiver for C/S

Can anyone help me choose whether to buy Satellite receiver or Cable receiver to be used by card sharing in UK..?? where a person don't have to pay for the services... which is less headache?

the reason i'm asking is that i read somwhere that by using CABLE receiver through cardsharing for premium channels a person only have to pay for the hardware whereas for the satellite receiver to be used by CARDsharing, a person have to pay for the cardsharing monthly or yearly and cannot get premium channels for free? .......... to what extent this is correct?

plz help i'm newbie

Remember with cardshare you have to bring something to the table..no one is going to share with you if you have nothing to share
