Exclamation Area net id required!

Could people please if they have a subbed box, get the NET ID from them and post in this thread, this will help others to get the correct Net Id for there area that dont have a subbed box.

A lot of areas old Net Id have changed so they are scanning on the wrong one and then missing channels, so this will help them get the correct one for there area.

Thanks in Advance

Thanks to The Coder & Clio1 for above lists.

If your on the exCW/exTW networks then you will likely be connected to one of those NetId's.

Note the TRIAL netid areas. Trials can consist of various things but usually they consist of selected areas where new stb code has been rolled out. VM tend to move certain customers to these new trial networks so that they have a contained test platform area. In most cases the actual network frequencies will be identical to the normal non-trial network area (they actually use the identical transponder feeds).

Thanks for that m8, now all we need is the virgin ones which would help people out.

Using your subbed box... Not the KV box.

Press the home button on your VM remote control.
Go to settings.
Then trchnical stuff.
Your net id is the first item on the list.
And let us know what provider it is as well.

Just a note on the new type lan boxs, some people think this is the same as before, its not, you need to realise and factor in some variables that the old boxs havent had to contend with.

The old boxs were plug and play, something happened it did or didnt work, it was either your box or the provider having some issue. With these new type of Lan box, the goalposts have changed. If your box is having issue's like freezing or missing some or all channels, you need to factor in the new part of the puzzle, the Net.

As you know, the box relies on this part to work or nowt works, simple as,

so if your service goes down, no chans, your homeplugs have probs, no chans, the provider cable or net service goes down, no chans, your provider is doing work in your area, no chans, your router has a bad day, no chans , the s*rver has a bad day , no chans , or freezing channels is cable connection fault

As you can see there is a lot more in the mix now than before, this is the way it will be going forward and its a pinch of salt you will have to take, if you are getting 95% of chans on any day, be happy with it, it will come back, there is not a lot that can be done

If your box works ok on FTA channels like bbc1 and itv with good signal and quality , its likely to be the net or cable signal and beyond your control
