Red face Mvision s4-usb No Signal! in Spain after 1y of not using

Dear forum,
Any ideas as to what I need to do to get my signal back?

I am located in Spain, have an MVISION s4-usb box which was installed about a year ago, pointing at ENGLISH satellite. It did all work fine. Not having used it for the past year I am now finding that I get the No Signal! error message.

I've been googling and reading up as to what I need to do. I've checked all cables etc. I've asked around and people in the village here say they have all had to buy a TDT box, but I can't see how that would apply to my Freesat setup.

I have tried to do a fresh Satellite Search, in which it found 249 TV channels and Radio, but I still get the No Signal! error message.

Any help greatly appreciated!
Warm regards from Spain,
/Joli.

The DTT broadcasts via satellite ceased around a year ago.

Drat! Does that mean I was scammed? The guy that installed said this would work for a lifetime. I'm not ready to lay down my head..

Hi,
Not sure who is reading this, but for the sake of keeping the forum informed:
I have spoken to other Freview viewers, who still do have a signal, all works fine (apart from bad weather and tree branches occasionally blocking the signal).

Also, in the local expat magazines here, Freeview is still being advertised:
For instance "Satellite TV, Free to view systems with over 250 TV and Radio channels, now only 299.00 Euros. Free view boxes in stock only 99.00 Euros."

Please, if anybody knows in which forum I could post my question as to how to get my signal back, any help greatly appreciated! Apart from not having the cash to bring a technician out (more than 100KM for them to get here), I know I will also enjoy it much more if I can fix this myself or at least narrow down the possible cause of the problem.

Thanks for any pointers,
Joli.
