,

i am about to buy a satellite receaver but would like to know are there any that is similar to eurovox max v?

i'm about to buy 2 satelite receavers,.....an HD receaver & also a standard receaver.
please advise me a good 1 to buy & maybe recomend me a website to buy from.

What im looking for in a receaver is :-

(1)- able to make & save channel list.
-able to make & save a channel list on my Laptop via some special software.

(2)-good fast epg.

(3)-able to categorize favourites..ie,news, sports, movies etc.

(4)-Ease of use. ( dont want nothing complicated).

(5)- Fast scans etc

(6)- good even during bad weather/ not too sensitive & losing signal.

Basically if any1 is familiar with Eurovox-max V cable box.....somthing similar to that or be'it a satellite version. Love that box & the voxer software.

dm500hd is probably the best box. best support for a sat box and available... have a look in the sat section

or try DM500s if you dont have an hd tv, the hardest part is finding the easiest to use firmware that suits your needs and personally recommend open pli.
