Angry breach of human rights

I am absolutely horrified to find that on the new version of 'Google Maps' I can look into my own home and zoom in to the point where I can actually see myself sitting at my pc, outlined against a window which shows quite clearly my back garden surounded by a wall, if you look carefully you can see the plants
This is causing me some concern because both my husband and myself are is over 70 and this breach of our 'Human Rights' is unforgivable...I would have expected a little more security from Google

Aren't you a little rude to be on these forums?

You can contact Google and they will remove the image. With it being a human rights issue, I disagree, a privacy complaint yes. How many times have you been photographed without your consent?
I'm sure I'm on at least 1000 Japanese peoples photos walking around London!
If you need help contacting Google, there are some friendly folk on here happy to help.

Google have never cared about privacy - Google are the world's biggest data collection and analysis company. Every time you use a Google service, they log whatever data they can in order to provide you with "more relevant ads".

So it's hardly suprising, with so little regard for privacy online, that Google have continued their ivory tower mentality offline as well.

Yes, Google Streetview is a nice idea from a techie point of view, but not very good in terms of privacy. Sure, much of the "views" are publically available, but what Google has done is put all of the information together in such a way as it can be best exploited.

Obviously, that means best in Google's interests, not the general public.
