The issue is not with his ISP but more with his IP address itself

you need to check that you are able to download anything from the blue panel as that will ensure that you will have connectivity.

i.e downloading plugins or skins will ensure that you are connected

or you alternatively ping the box via the router or PC to see if you getting 100% replies.

The reason u have no joy is because the box is not connected @ your mates house.

As i told you before check your IP address of your box.

Thats the IP for your Router (default gateway)

Am talking about the LAN IP

which should be somthing like 192.168.0.3 etc

Yes!!!

And then you need to check that the correct IP address is allocated by DHCP

after that from your router / comp you need to ping that IP address

i.e ping 192.168.0.5 and see if you received 100% reply

if there is no packet loss then it means you are connected!!!

you should get something like this..

Reply from 10.0.0.4: bytes=32 time=3925ms TTL=128
Reply from 10.0.0.4: bytes=32 time=2058ms TTL=128
Reply from 10.0.0.4: bytes=32 time=2058ms TTL=128
Reply from 10.0.0.4: bytes=32 time=2058ms TTL=128

Please note that this is only an example:

Alternatively you can use the blue button on ya remote and connect to the enigma server and see if your able to download any cams / plugins

if you can download it then it means your connected and the problem lies within your C line itself... I assume your connecting to someone elses server??

Am I right?

Its no point putting a wireless bridge in there if you cant connect @ all

my question is that have you done what I told you above.

Is your box connected to the network and communicating with other computers?

Did you Ping the IP address to make sure its connected?

Have you gone into the cpanel and checked that you are able to download cams / plugins from the Gemini server?

Until u have done all this, we cant know wether its the Cline or the network thats @ fault.

You said that the box works @ your house, and not your friends house. which means then the problem is with your network... i.e IP address of your box.
