Default mac addresses= Needle in a haystack

I,m at a loss, as last few nights i have been trying mac addresses, which all have been working fine in aug, sep,
i,m talking of around 100 which all worked from 2 meg to 10, and the odd 20 ones,
now the last 2 nights every one are now useless, as of 1 am still using, every other takes me to V site on a 213, this as only happened over the last 2 nights.
anyone else the same as once this one goes that its for me , scanning just gets me non i can use at all

Whether or not he/she turns the modem off, if a MAC address is going to go down it will go down lol!

well its getting harder to sniff out working macs these days, most people get by using macs from previous sniffs from last year which they kept.

i think the other prob is that because there are less useable macs u will find that instead of 1 person trying to clone the mac in ur area you now have 5 people trying to use the same mac as yourself. and in the end no one gets online.

ive seen it myself at m8's house where modem just starts rebooting itself as someone tries to clone a cloned mac lol. i just tell them to leave it as the other person will give up and try another mac from there list.

the other thing is people swapping macs on mac trade forums ive noticed its the same old bunch of macs doing the rounds and most likely been used by every one in neighbouring ubr's.

my sb5100 works fine even after a reboot or power cut it comes back online no probs. and many other people have said they can turn it off and it comes back online ok.

also the other day i used a mac from one ubr and used it twice in 2 other ubrs and both modems came on fine and are still running.
