Default a780 and use of splitter

Hi, Could someone tell me if this is possible. I have a vermin modem coming in upstairs and i used a T splitter one to PC, and one back down to my Dbox but now that this is redundant, can I use the Dbox cable just the same but to my KV a780 or must I take it through a router and back down via wire plugs etc. Thanks from totem2

you will need to connections to your box, 1 will be your cable feed to the box, 2 ethernet connection from router to box.

And if your signal is bad from your cable split expect problems with your box, ie pixalating and glitching, you need at least 75/80% signal.
