remove your cable feed then reboot modem and try again,if stiil no access to gui,set a static IP in network connections
reboot modem and try again.
Hope this helps.

try it without the coax feed in on a different computer, and then back on yours.

I've got the same problem, ive tired relashing the box again but still cant access the Web Gui.

methods tried:

1) Connecting to PC via ethernet cable
2) Connecting to PC via USB
2) static ip on PC (192.168.100.10) connecting via ethernet cable.
3) static ip on another PC (192.168.100.10) connecting via ethernet cable.
4) reflashed box with SB5100Mod
5) reflashed box with orginal flash and then flashed with SB5100Mod.

Box was working fine, went into Gui to change the mac and after I did reboot it didnt let me back in

Can any one help?

That always been due to having the cable wire plugged in for me, make sure only the power and the ethernet wire are in, also on the pc in network right click and do 'repair'

its happend to me various times on moto sb5100 modems, i just do the above and its sorted 99.9% of the time. i normally go into the 192.168.100.1 page 1st and then from there i go into the 192.168.100.1:666 or 192.168.100.1:1337 pages depending on ur firmware.

As you say mate it normally sorts the problem but i was defeated once and had to reflash (last resort) if cable feed is disconnected afterwards when initially entering GUI cant really go wrong?

right so i got it working today without even doing anything, i tried doing everything suggested here and was getting nowhere, alll i had was a yellow conflicton the link from my pc to the undiscovered network and when i tried doing a repair it was saying find ip settings automatically which wasnt working, so i just gave up and left it, went back upstairs like a hour later and went to have another go at fixing it, looked in the bottom corner and it was all working fine, didnt have to use a mac or nothing
anyone know why?

If your running vista it can take a long time to get you ip or do it manualy works faster
