Default Technotrend C-1500

All, I've got a Technotrend C-1500 that has never been used. If I connect this card a VM connection, what software is needed on a Windows PC to be able to view the FTA channels?

There are very few fta channels on VM cable (VM has no real concept of such a thing as you need to subscribe to some package to actually be connected to cable). Basically, all you get is the normal 5 terrestiral channels and the odd news channel plus a few "lifestyle" channels trying to flog you such niceties as lavender sock de-oderisers !

If you still want to try then programs like MyTheatre or ProgDVB can work quite well and, actually, you could likely use the program that actually comes with the card for fta only.

Agreed !

You can get suprisingly good quality from really cheap devices. I got a USB dongle for £8 and it works perfectly except for the fact it really needs an external Aerial . Still was quite impressed for the price.
