Just wanting to find out a bit more information

Well ive been readin around and i jsut havent been able to find a simple explanation?
Im thinkin about gettin cable tv from Vi**in M*dia(N*L) with broadband and things. But just wanted to know what would be the options i have so to speak. What i mean by that is what exactly is a funcard is it simply a replaced to one that you currently have with the box provided and it allows to watch other channels?
Another question is i wanted to get broadband anyways but i read in one of the posts that if i get that and buy a dbox2 box ill be able to get the tv signal anyways?
Thnks in advance, ive probably been a complete tool and missed a giant FAQ thread somewhere any help would be apreciated though.

just looking around on the sign up page there as well and noticed that id get a free tv box with a phone line anyways so would that be the best choice? get the box and then just get a funcard?

just get phone and broadband then buy a d-box mate!!!!!

never chip your subbed box mate allways use a buckshee one (talkback will get you hung or the lack of on a subbed box) or you could do as the previous post suggests or perhaps a eurovox a bit cheaper i believe

oh nearly forgot if you do get a buckshee box dont hook it up to the cable feed untill youve cut talkback because we all know talkback will get you hung.

hi iv just joined yesterday and getting to know stuff i just want to know how do i tell wat model P*ce box do i have and where is talkbackchip located so i can disconnect it??
