Default dreamboxs error message

Help please
cannot get box to communicate with router and computer.
Using Dcc editor, keep getting error message 10027 no port connection.
Changed service provider alas problems HELP Please

Have you got DHCP switched on in the Dreambox network settings? I've never used DCC but surely you would need to know the exact IP of the Dreambox and the correct password. You should be able to see the IP address from the network settings page, if you switch DHCP to off, it should then stay the same.
