Hi Guys, have been given a NTL Home 100 modem and ive been reading this forum to try and see if It could be moded so I can use it with my KV box. I have flashede my old now redundant Dbox a few times but never had anything to do with Modems I have a legit Ntl 100 modem and and VM TV package so could somone please tell me if there is a tut, or if there is any info on whether this can be done as at present I havent read anything about this Modle been moded although I am still uesing one Thanks in advance from Totem2.

Thanks for that, but why do they call it an ambit. When there is no mention of that at all on the modem only ntl home 100. and that is what I was serching for. I read all the Termonoligy etc but no mention of NTL 100. So if the ambit is the same one, I will start colecting the ingreadeants. Thanks again. From Totam2

Not sure but are you saying thats your legit subbed modem, if it is then I wouldnt mess with it.

Edit: Just ignore this just reread and realise youve been given this. Bit l8 in the night maybe time for bed.

Wouldn't bother unless its a 250/255. Also look up 'haynes cable modem guide' and read cover to cover.

No it isnt my legit one.. But the one I have had given is exactly the same a NTL home 100.

Is the haynes guied on this forum as I tried googling it and it took me all over but no cable guied , also seen it in the FTA section but couldnt get it to open on the site. Thanks .
