Default Best Deal From VM on Full Sub

Looking to get the Full Sub From VM with Extra box and been quoted £83.50 a month is this the best I can hope for? They will upgrade my Broadband from 10 to 20 meg which comes in with the deal I didn't ask for it and also increase my landline usage to unlimited which again I never use anyway so just wondered what the best deal someone has got.

Thumbs up Re: Best Deal From VM on Full Sub

thats the same price for a sky calcio card

I would get a KV box and use that.

There is no way in a million years I would pay that amount of money to VM for crap channels which show nothing but repeats.

Broadband well thats a different story... But capping businesss they do.. with there fair use policy puts me off. However you cant beat a Fibre Optic connection.

Unlimited land line calls... if you dont use your land line that much then its a waste of paying that much.

Nice way to get a lure a exisiting customer into paying 83 quid p/m

I have looked into the Kryptview box, However I am not happy at the safety level of plugging it into my exisiting BB connection I know their are ways such as modded routers but then I have to pay someone a monthly figure to do something else in order to make it completely safe, I don't have more money than sense that's for sure but I am missing the sports and kids are missing the tv channels and the Mrs loves the crap films.

Why dont you get the broadband on a legit basis and then split the line and obtain the TV that way mate.

after that look into VPN setup and thats it mate your safe and sound if you ask me.

after all the choice is yours mate.

You save money in the long thats for sure.

It's this VPN setup that has got me stumped. The cost of just Broadband is not that much different for the basic 3 TV, Phone and Broadband so to keep them is that just the same.

its a private network which works in a similar way to a proxy server where the IP is hidden and the packets / data which is being sent / received is encrypted.

for example: you have a KV box... The keys which are sent down the line from the server to ISP to client... well all that can be now seen by teh ISP.

With a VPN all that becomes enctypted. And your IP address is now changed as well.

p.s: here is one: http://www.hideipvpn.com/premium_vpn/

What about switching to Sky, I would still have the Cable running into the house so I could still plug it in and then plug it into the wireless router Sky provide would that make it safer from VM?

Looking at Sky they seem to be coming out a little cheaper than VM but the telling thing is their broadband as although I am on 10 meg with currently if I switched to Sky I would get UPTO 20 meg being the key word and how much really I would get.
