Hi guys I need some help, I have supplied some of my friends modems, and they was all working, up until 27/10/10 so they all got returned back to me, those modems have the latest FW of haxorware on them, I have enabled the BPI to 1.0, and have placed on them working MACS from a outer UBR, all of the modems work on my house, but when I give them back to my friends they do not work, is cable connections are all working fine, what can be the problem ? modems working in my house but not in theirs ? as they used to work like a charm for some months. Please help.

A lot of ppl are having the problem where if you get it working once and then reboot the modem stops working, its a combination of things, mostly the stealth and correct macs, even if they work they wont/dont last long so I wouldn't bother with them unless its for yourself or if you really like ppl calling you every 2 days to sort their modem out.

Like all said above its harder these days, you will have to goto each individual house and change the mac, once connected do not turn the modems off, teach them how to change the macs might help you out, good luck. |

I think I'm having the same trouble with two modem's I currently have connected, is the connected/ready light on?
Where are you in the country? PM if you don't want to post it on here. I'll get my max232 out tomorrow evening if I get chance, see if I can figure anything out. |
