im with sky and dont use a phoneline... you do not need one anymore only coax and a dish.

Hi lads been good reading all the posts on this trying 2 get my head round it all buy interesting so could I do this if some 1 is a couple of mile away with VM or can u only do it with sky when u few miles apart

If they are on the same NET-ID as you and a live cable feed, even a VM broadband feed, I don't see how it wouldn't work, the box will talk back, but if it's subbed, hey ! No worries. I would take the risk

if you bought a SKY box then you would need to obtain a card and a valid subscription. You will need a Dish as well.

i went to sky last year me and my brother share the costs he lives 3 miles away the extra hd box has worked perfect.....
