dm500s ip address help

hi guys,

need some expert advise, i was flashing with new inage via dcc and it froze, when im rebooted dreambox it got to tv, then date/time zone as if new set up, and then just goes back to the same, triaf reflash with dream up, all looks good but stops awaiting authorisation, cannot find ip address of dreambox to reflash through dcc but no joy. now desperate any advise would be greatly appreciated.

easiest way to do it is via the null modem cable ....

and then setup your network etc etc etc.

Try to use a different revision of dreamup
had this problem a few times and it helps

thanks for the replies, looks like it started to load an image, as the front screen comes on, but wont go past the time zone, i have tried null modem, and different versions of dream up with no joy, any other ideas.

you tried using a different image perharps... could be that the box does not like Enigma Image.

try a different image and see what comes up

hi,

thanks again for reply, now the box wont respond to dreamup, says prepared and to turn on the dreambox, but it does not start the initialisation, i had a solid redlight on the box, i think it may be dead. green light still comes on and the start of the image still happens.

anyone any ideas.
