show me an official declaration that they will expire. Are starview stupid enough to start turning off boxes? who will buy a starview if that happens, suppose a box is on fleabay, does it have 1 month left,, 6 months or the full 12 months. Therefore no one will buy a starview box and the company will die,,,for what the few quid it costs to maintain a c/s server.... i don't think these boxes will ever expire. BTW i have both kryptview and starview boxes so i'm not championing the starview cause just expressing my opinion

It does nto say on any forum that it will be only 12 months. we should be lucky if we get 12 months at all. for under £10 a month am not complaining. on a sv7 if it goes off and your desperate give me your bank details and i will arrrange sly or virming to come out and install and you will still complain 4 1 thing or another...
not being biased but m8 has kryptview all the same to me as long as the channel works not bothered...... |

so tell me then when you buy a box for 99 pound,,, how do you know how much it has been used for and how long left it has then, so i just keep my packaging use for six months flog it on flea bay by another and so on is this what will happen as i said before i think its just a vicious rumour spread by someone,,,maybe even Kryptview. As for SV8 that will probably just be a HD box without the combo.

When you buy the box it is brand new and there is no firmware on the box. So when you apply firmware on the box it then connects on the server and the timer starts. When you buy a box you should check system information to check if any firmware has been applied on the box, if it has the default firmware then you know it is new. It is not a rumour this has been confirmed by starview importers to me that it will only last 12 months. If you wanna do that then yes you can do that but in this game you do not know how long any box will work they may all stop working tomorrow, that is the risk everyone takes.

i was joking bout the starview 8, they come up with a new box every couple of months. Kryptview dont need to spread any rumours there box & server do the talking for them.
