Help with Technomate TM 1500 Softcam Loading

Can anyone help?

Am trying to load a Technomate softcam on a TM1500 CI ,after i downloaded the Softcam Cam and unzip it and use to Technomate Loader via RS232 CABLE when i select connect it comes up with "INVALID FIRMWARE" on the loader.

Any ideas ??

Hi Shaun4uz,
welcome to the forum.
Which patch have you got loaded on your technomate 1500?
Did you patch it yourself using the same cable and PC?
Are you sure you have the correct softcam file, who made it?
Does your PC have a dedicated Com/serial port or are you using an adapter?

hi friend,

i just up dated the patch from 312p to latest 313p using a rs232 cable from a usb port on my laptop to RS232 on receiver.
am wondering if the softcam is a read only file & am using the loader from the technomate website.
Using the loader to load the patch is not a problem but i,ve never been able to load a Softcam.

Try using the Darkman TM loader, there is also a video showing how to use it, from alsat.
You can find these on alsat or in the satellites uploads.
Check the download link in the Satellite Help & Support section:

Hi again,

I did find this link however i thought i could click on it and it would take me somewhere else but it does not do anything,you mention alsat but even there it not allowing to access the forum.
because i only used the official technomate loader this is where my invalid firmware problem may lie.

Do you have another link to a loader i can try ?
