starview 7 not connected help

hi new 2 forum,sorry if this post in wrong place,having problems with starview 7 connected it all up through a router and was working fine 4 a couple of days, got free channels but saying not connected!my brothers who just round corner is fine,not very tech minded so any help pls

have you checked all connections? all pluggeed in etc?

try restarting you box and modedm router....

switch off for 5 min and do a full restart should be ok whose ur bb supplier?

Do u get bb1 2 3 etc?

thanx for reply checked all connections all seem ok,dont no who broadband off,had eurovox on same line had no probs,got me stumped as i said was workin fine for a couple of days then came up not connected,goin to try lap top to modem via ethernet cable,think this will see if connecting to internet

Check if USTREAM is selected

OPTIONS >NETWORK> NET APPLICATION >USTREAM

checked that and already set to upstream,think iam gettin signal from the wall just tried virgin box and gettin free channels so that seems ok,think problem is either modem,router,dont think its starview box coz got fta`s,have tried unplugn modem for 5mins but still no joy,just cant get me head round it coz was working fine for 2 days

change lan cable or how you connecting box to router? is ur net working fullstop? forget other boxes etc that worked so ur saying the box worked nad now off u havent changed the setting si would say re flash check that your net is live and your router all full restart and see what happens then?????

i wud suggest trying the internet on a pc or laptop maybe narrow the problem down then u will at least no if its your broadband oh and if u dont know who supplies that m8 then y get a box as its obvious u done no reading or reserch sorry buddy to have a pop but broadband every 1 shud no there provider

Do a Factory Restore, its a pain to do, but it fixed mine, had no problems since.......

hi guys,thanks for replys, 99% sure modem has gone down,any ideas were to get 1,cant get hold of bloke who i got it off,been told they have to be flashed is thic correct?
