hd combo+ satellite sw

Hi just got my hd combo+ lan today, the sw was preloaded from the guy I bought it off! I had a look at system information to see what sw was on, from what I can see it appears to have carling, I can't see grooverider listed, I am assuming I will need this for c/s for satellite tv, which I was planning to do in the near future. do I just install grooverider from a usb, will it be c c c am 2.1.4? I just want to make sure that I don't mess up! thats why I am asking first! any guidance will be appreciated greatly!
