Need help please
I got box yesterday I put genius firmware in box all I want box to work with satellite cccam, in network section I can see all ip box filled but MAC is 00a000, do I need mac address to work sat cccam ? I put all cs server details it says connect then after few seconds disconnect, is it because of MAC 0a000,
I tried svhd fix using usb to serial with computer to get back to factory firmware but bat steys at 0%.

Please help.

MAC shouldn't make a difference for Sat. I am not familiar with genius, do you mean Guinness? That usually doesn't cause the MAC problem, it was caused by early carling in certain circumstances.

If the MAC fix is not loading, you could have the USB-Serial not configured or are trying to use the wrong Port number.

Your problem you describe could be an authentication problem, you should contact the person you got the cfg from and also check spelling etc. That's as far as we can go on this site with CCcam.

I'm trying to re-install the mac bin file. I'm using a USB TO SERIAL port cable.The laptop recognisies the port I'm using and I've followed the instruction off the forum. The file just sits there at zero. Fellas am I missing something. To be fair I'm tryin to sort out the box for my brother in law. Please help... cheers
