I have the a780 with ethernet cable, what exactly do i need to buy to not use the cable and is it easy to get working. Also i am with V broadband is there any way of securing this

Im assuming that you are wanting to connect a receiver in another part of the house, where coaxial cable lies? A cheaper method would be to modify a DIR-615 with DDWRT (Build 15704 is really good) Its relatively reliable-as reliable as wireless can be, and it wouldn't matter if the speeds are slower when reaching the KV, as it doesn't need that much any way. You can then also connect a VOIP phone, other receivers, computers etc.. to the (possible) 5 ports available.
Home plugs would be more reliable, considering its effectively using straight through cables to connect to your KV, straight from your router
