Exclamation Guide for jailbreaking Apple iPhone

ok as its raining and bored, thought i would post about my luck so far with the apple iPhone. As we all know, we have to pay for most apps, unless you unlock your phone which is called "jail breaking" and can be done to i pads, i phones, itouchs

PLEASE REMEMBER JAIL BREAKING IS DONE AT YOUR OWN RISK AS WELL AS KILLS ANY OF THE WARRANTY ON THE PHONE
a quick guide for what i just did for my 3gs on 4.1

Step 1. First of all Download the Limera1n from Here. http://www.limera1n.com/ Official Site

Step 2. Once you have downloaded Limera1n then connect your iPhone to your computer via USB Cable and Click on ‘ Make it ra1n’ button.

Step 3. Now Read what is says on the Limera1n box and do what it says

enter into ‘Recovery Mode’ Wait for it. Next You would be asked to Hold ‘ Home + Power Button’ in order to enter the DFU Mode.

Step 4. Next you would be asked to release the ‘ Power Button ‘ and wait for your Device to Enter into DFU Mode.

Step 5. Once above step is completed., You will have Limera1n App Logo on your iPhone and Later you will be greeted with the message ‘ Jailbreak is Done ‘ That’s it. Your iPhone is Jailbroken on iOS 4.1

Step 6. Next Tap on Limera1n App Logo on your iPhone and Install the Cydia App and restart your Device and That’s all ! Simply isn’t it?

Notes:

must be connected to wireless for step 6 to work

If you get a error when starting Limera1n about a missing dll, then download it and place that where the .exe is

Also a list of apps I would say you want to have

redlaser: great app to scan bar-codes to see where to get cheap, also has saved me loads of money as a few shops do a price match, like game, game stations , some computer shops

Winterboard: so you can change themes, sms sounds etc from cydia

Pingchat: in a way like bbm, but free to send messages, photos ect and can also connect to people both on blackberries and iphones

Installous: a MUST HAVE, can search for full IPA`s and install paid apps

Iblacklist: can block peoples numbers for sms and calls

SmartSync: get 2.1 by using Installous, can link to facebook and get their photo from Facebook onto your contacts (using Ipicmycontacts) as well as their email birthday and home address etc

Android XT cracked : a lock screen you have to know the pattern to unlock phone

Appsync (os *.*) : search for the one you have from sinful and when you sync to itunes, all your cracked apps will back up their , unlike before when you lose them after updated your OS and jail breaking

Ibluenova: Bluetooth app to really Bluetooth items

OpenSSH: so you can ftp to your phone and put things in folders

Sbsettings: scroll finger over battery to signal bar and hidden menu comes up to kill apps ect

I hope this helps a little
