Hello,

I currently have a V+ HD box, used the + functions for a year and then after the N3 happened, downgraded the V+ function for certain reasons..!! I know that the boxes cannot be fiddled now but I was wondering if there is some way I can get back the recording function, without asking virgin (or paying them)..!! as it was quite a valuable function..or if there is a cheap alternative method.??

U have to pay VM for the recording function. There is no way to bypass it.

Alternatively either get a DVD recorder.

as far as was posted about 9 months ago, if u make a fun card and put the keys or the cam id as zeros, this will allow the play back of recorded items, not sure if u get back the v+ options
