Default How to record on starview 7

Hi All, I am new to this so please bear with me! I am trying to record onto my (FAT32) 16Gb USB stick. However, attempts at two hour recordings result in me only being able to view one hour (approx) of the recording, both on the box and my PC (using VLC). Help please! (sorry if I've missed any relevant threads in my endeavours).

Hi,

New to the S7 myself. have recorded Manchester derby and the PacMan fight both over 2 hrs.

Try this,

goto Menu, Accessory, PVR and set the file size to 4gig (max)
default is 256mb.

Hope this helps.

That sounds more like it,
Though why default is not 4gb is strange

Hi kingtj, many thanks for that but have already done that, after which the programme records under several files (depending on length). but when it comes to viewing only approx half of the first file plays after which the playback ends. When I try to playback any of the other files, they will not open! Any further suggestions?
