Question NGN ADSL problem

Hi,

Recently Vodafone "upgraded" our fixed line internet. Now by Belkin M/R has decided to drop connections and takes 20 mins to synchronise and therefore connect. VF have told me it's my ADSL 2 router that is causing the problem. Anyone got any recomendations on a new one. I am looking to connect printer through a usb port on it.

thanks

Sounds like a compatibility issue between the chipset in the router/modem and that on the local hub/exchange.

To recommend you'd need to find out about the local hub/exchange, and I'm not sufficiently knowledgeable.

I suggest you consult the best source I know - the think broadband site forums where you can find experts who can tell you how to find the hardware details, and then recommend routers. The site also has reviews of equipment, and links to sources.

Good hunting
