Question virgin

hiya all im new here...
my names baggio

ive got a virgin v+ box chiped and was working fine for 2 years untill now....

i understand whats going on but im looking for a box to give me what i had ive been told to get a kryptview a780 box.
ive still got the internet with virgin so is this all i need...

Yes, it should be all you need.

Assuming your cable signal level is adequate then the KV box is pretty much plug & play. All you need to do initially is load the latest firmware (may require a PC and serial cable) and then do a scan.

How long are these boxs supposed to work i suppose theres no guarentee?

yes thats all very well until vermin lock on to ur signal, ie vermin server and cut u off, then they come round to ur house with the pocice and say gusse wot ur busted, why oh why do peeps not take heed that using vermin sever,s is a no,no, u have been worned,..chris...

It's rather unlikely they would go through the bother of all that for someone using a bit of cardsharing, especially when there are much easier targets to go for that damage the system far more (modem cloners).

Its also very unlikely VM would want the publicity of admitting their brand new super-duper encryption system is vulnerable in this way.

If VM go after anyone, it will almost certainly be the server operators and, in the case of KV as least, there is no money trail to end clients for server access so its unlikely any clients will be traced that way !
