Hi, just letting you all know that I finally cracked it!!! Purchased a (very compact) 160GB usb powered hard drive (around £30) and it works like a dream! I can now time record movies and watch them at my leisure on my laptop. For those of you that watch regular shows, it need only be programmed once in order to record regularly. The usb record function is in itself one of the reasons I bought the box and a most invaluable feature that ensures that I now always have something to watch. Give it a go ...it's a really neat adjunct!
