hello there this might be a stab in the dark but if im correct in thinking when i first purchased my eurovox ex1100 usb it came with f t a firmware on it that would work with a tv ariel and get free to air channels until it was flashed with updated firmware .

Well im after the origional firmware to restore it back to being a f t a reciever not vermin can any one shed any light if its possible or does anyone have the origional firmware for this box please

these boxes have a cable tuner and do not work with an aerial.
you will get the same channels regardless of which firmware is on the box (which is very little)

so basically ive been ripped off then m8 ?
I thought they was freeview boxes before being flashed must of been given some incorrect info 50 quid for 1-5 no way now im upset

any ways thanks for reply apreciated v v much

When did you buy it? If the person who sold it to you sold it knowing it was useless then you have been ripped off. But if you have had a Eurovox for some time (which judging by your posts from May last year, you have), then surely you knew Nagra 3 was coming and would also know that Eurovoxes aren't freeview boxes, only free to air receivers.

Either way I think you need to put it down to experience mate, sorry.

why would you pay 50 quid for a freeview box anyways m8, if its for the pvr function. then tvs with usb ports are pvr ready also. therefor no need for ex1000.
