Default Help with ebay virgin box please

Hello guys how you can maybe help...

I have 1 V+ HD box and 3 "normal" V boxes at home, my 18 year old is getting a home cinema set up in his room and a projector. I wish to connect the box to an AV receiver then via HDMI to the projector with other things, bluray & xbox so I need another V+ HD box so I have hdmi port on the box. If I buy one from a seller on ebay that has offered me one will my "normal" card work with the box? If not will Virgin send a code for it to work if asked?

Not looking to scam V or anything just don't fancy paying £119 for their box on top of other expenses if I can help it.

Thanks in advance.

Don't buy it. Virgin boxes remain their property, and the seller has no right to sell it. Can't see Virgin giving you a card for it, as essentially its stolen property.

You are better off speaking to Virgin to see if they will do you a deal. Of course, one of your SD boxes could go faulty.

Thanks Robbo I kind of thought that may be the case.

Virgin want £99 for the box and £20 for delivery which is disgusting but may just have to bite the bullet. No point wasting money and then paying them..

Thanks again...

Yes, it does seem a lot to pay, since you'll never own it.

I had one SD box, now got two HD boxes, I only had to pay something like £60, plus an extra £5.50 a month for multiroom. Maybe you need to ditch something, then get it back again to get better prices, I don't know..
