technomae tm 500 super linux enigma flashing?

hi there, i am a newbie in technomate tm500, i just bought new tm 500 and i have been told that you can see aljazeera sports and others through internet so i bought this and want to flash a new image but do i need a cable for it or just the internet is enough and if it need cable then can i use 9 pin to usb because my laptop only have usb slot, so please help me in any way you can and thanks in advance

It all depends what image you have on yout tm500super.
you may need technomate control center software.You may need ethernet connection.
you may need crossover cable.

Hi
Look at system information in setup menus.
Then you will see which image you have firmware.
Then you need to download technomate control center loader.For this you need to connect to your technomate.so etnernet cable will be needed.Then you will be able to load new images.
You need to make sure you get correct image for your 500super.Alaso to do certain things you may need to add plugins to asnable different methods of reciveing channals.

Hi HAPPYMAN
As posted you need to download technomate control center 7.1 i think is best.
This will allow you to change images. UR images seem the best for 500super.
Then if you get the image you can set your network up in menus. Then you can download addons.Like cccam 2.14.
To edit cccam you need to download dream control center. this also needs to be networked to your tm500 supper.
Then you need to ftp files to pc then edit then ftp back to tm500 super.
As tm500 super is a linux box you will find a lot of good reading in the dreambox section that will be usefull.

7ZIP. Is a nice and easy unziper.Enter 7zip into google.download to your
computer.I always download to my desktop.
Install 7zip.Nothing will show on your desktop when the program is installed.
Now all that you do to unzip,or un rar, a file is to. Right click on the ziped file.In the dialog box that shows put cursor onto 7zip Right click on it. Left click on unzip here.The unziped file will then appear.
