lookin for sum advice, i currently have a svhdcombo running off a 80cm communal dish and all i recieve is sly uk. although recently i set up a dm500s for a friend and when i checked out the server was up and running ok i noticed that iwas recieving signals of 93 and 87 on sports channels13e. although i couldnt check as my server is only runnin sly uk. i was just wondering if the dm comes with a better tuner or something as i dnt even pick any channels up with the sv on 13e only ones that are broadcast on 28e. would it be worthmy while investing in a dm rather than my combo?

Is the communal dish actually receiving other satellites besides Astra 2?
If not,then you'll see a signal reading for transponders,which are the same on other satellites.
As the receiver doesn't know which satellite its receiving,only that a signal is being received.
If you actually scan that 13E transponder,you'll find the Astra 2 channels,assuming again that the dish is only receiving Astra 2 at 28E.
