The type of chip used is spoken about by the man himself (Kudulski) @ the l8st Black-Hat convention (google is gr8)!
Here is the link .... usual 3ws youtube.com/watch?v=GCvFQn7Cu-w&featu jump to time index 11.13 if u cant be bothered listening to ALL of this vid..TRUST ME you will want to watch it all after hearing what he says about the N3 chip on the vid........ Serious info, or is it just Tarnovski putting a red herring out there perhaps? Any feedback about this would be well appreciated, or did we all know about this already?! lol ![]() Regards, Beatbox

lmao - he's a good self publicist isn't he ?
As regards UK N3, forget it. He's still playing around with the Thomson stuff which is not what the present series of cards use. It may be of some use for Ireland (even thats doubtful though) but certainly not the UK ! btw, notice that he doesn't actually say much throughout that interview. Basically just a series of buzzwords designed to peak the interest of the press members that were invited to the conference. In essence, what he's doing there is using techniques that were obsolete for the majority of serious chip-reversal professionals 10+ years ago. Tarnovsky is living on his notoriety, nothing more ! |

Ireland WAS ROM110 but upgraded to N3 Rom142 some time back. Thats still fairly secure. The Rom104 is a N2 card that could of been used as a replacement in the N2 days but no longer !

Whether you agree with him or not the guy does come across very smart. He does tend to know what he is talking about so why people would just dish what he has to say.. Maybe as he says the hackers are lazy. Maybe thats what getting people backs up, that the hack for N3 is clear for chris but the other hackers and coders cant see this and it somewhat bugs them. |

Coder, whilst I dont see a hack around the corner, I think you were a tad harsh with your comments. After all, like you he's probably one of the guys that sorted N1 for us
