Default laptop overheating

hi i have a fujitsu-seimens laptop for the past couple of months when i charge the laptop it gets red hot by where the charger plugs into the laptop and the input plug is red hot when i remove it from the laptop any ideas what the problem is and can it be repaired. cheers.

I would not leave it on charge as if will end up on fire, Take it 2 a shop...

my hp laptop fan keeps over heating i clean it but it still does it???

Did you clean out between the fins on the heatsink so you can see between them? Also check task manager and make sure your cpu is not maxed out near 100%
Edit: Did you remove heatsink from cpu? if so you will need to clean off and re-apply thermal compound. (plenty of vids on YouTube etc..)
Another thing that wont help is missing rubber feet which raise lappy up to allow air flow.

This is most likely to be a terminal on the DC socket that has come loose and needs re-soldering.

I would seriously get rid of it mate, HP laptops are renowned for having heat problems, eventually the motherboard will fry!
