Ello,
I am planning to buy a 40 inch LCD Sony TV and the thing is that the same TV is available for £429 from Amazon.com and £449 from Argos. As I understand Sony Bravia has 3 years warranty. I would be glad if someone could answer to me that in case I buy the TV from Amazon and something goes wrong during the warranty period then do i need to post the TV back to Amazon or do i take it to Sony Centre near my place (or deal with sony directly). The reason being that in case I need to take the TV to the retailer, I would rather buy from Argos as they are much easy to deal with (face to face) rather than online..? and If I have to deal with sony directly then I can go for the cheaper deal..? Would be glad if someone could shed some light on it..!! Cheers |

Usually, when you purchase a new TV you are covered by the store and also the manufacturer I believe.

try here m8
i would presume if you did have any problems you would deal with the store but give them a ring to check, i have bought 3 tv's from them with no problems in the last 3 years

Regardless of where you buy it, I'd expect any TV over 32" to be serviced in the home - you might want to ask the question of each of your possible vendors.
