Hi guys. I just got the above card but when I try to access the card on my laptop via a USB adapter, it says "Please insert the disk in drive". Any ideas why this is happening?
Thanks in advance! Kimi.

It obviously doesn't work with that card, so you need to work out whether it's card or reader. Can you try the card or combination card+reader in some other PC?

Thanks mate. I'll check it out. The usb should definitely support a SDHC card as it has those initials on the adapter. So I'm guessing its an issue with xp then.

Re original post, check to see if the card appears when you open my computer, if it does then it's always wise to do s full, not quick , fat 32 format. That has resolved most of my probs in the past.
Good luck, Peter |

It does recognise. I just can't open it. I also get an error message when I try to format it. In any case, I was able to solve the issue by putting the card in my phone and accessing it through my laptop by hooking up my phone to the laptop via a USB cable. That seems to have done the trick.
