Does anyone know if this box has PPV channel?
I have 'Sky Event's which says 'Scrambled' and 'Live Events Channel' which has a advertisment on about the boxing but no boxing .

what i say is ,,,,, accept what we have , it seems too quick for people to moan about not geting ppv etc etc, the odd outage time we have people come along moan moan moan , what about if you just didnt have any channels at all?
what we have now is far better than freeview or freesat and people work hard at getting us what we have now. so what about showing a little more thanks for what we do actually get ! to be honest im more than happy to have the channels i get with my sv combo, ok i have the sat side set up and sub a server guy but i use that for back up if the sv server goes down, i use the cable side most of the time and i love the choice i have, before this i had sly full hd package and it was costing an arm and a leg each month, now i have the same channels and it was a one off cost, and so what if after 12 months the sv server kicks me, ill spend another £200 on another sv hd box and ill be more than happy with that for another 12 months, its bareley 3 months at slys costs! ok so the sv owners didnt get the boxing,,,, boo hoo , why not ask your mate who has sky fitted if you pay him half and he pays half then he buys the boxing, after all on your sv at home yr getting loads and loads of channels at no monthly cost!!! and of course as stated by the kv guys , rather than moan and cry sell your sv and buy a kv instead... have sd tv and no option for sly or hd. unless you have the sv7 which in my opinion is the cheap option, should have bought a combo at least and then have the hd channels for free and the cs server option too. so you who moan was probably being tight and saved yourself £50 to £100 by buying the cheaper sv7 and still want everything for free. trade up to the kv or the combo and stop moaning!!!!!!!!!!!!!! or at the end of the day go and ring sly and tell them you didnt get the boxing on your non legal box and would they please come and fit sly for you and then see how much all that costs you. ps my server guy on sly (cs) supplied the boxing to his customers for a very small extra cost (£1 each). he didnt offer we discussed it between his customers and requested it and offered payment! see im not greedy i dont want everything handing on a plate , im more than happy to pay for extras !! so the next time u miss a wrestling match or a boxing match before coming along and having a moan about it just think, if it wasnt for this new system you would still be watching crap tv!!! regards dave |

quavis, i dont think alot of people on this thread are moaning we are just asking if PPV worked because there a few of us who just got the box recently and are not sure sure if the channel worked because there might have been a method of getting the channel but in this case there wasn't. The only way you can find your way round is by asking.
Thanks for the long post explaining the maths on wants cheaper than what and how many different channels you can get with these boxes. credit to SV and KV |
