Far easier then pissing about with a machine which is 3yrs old. But is up to you now tbh and troubleshooting that comp is pretty much a waste of time. Just out of interest what is the specs of the machine?

INTEL DUAL CORE 2.4GHZ PROCESSOR
2GB MEMORY 500GB SATA HARD DISK DRIVE It was an old packardbell imedia system. Good spec at the time but as we know thing move fast.. Thought i'd update it a bit and put it in my son's room as he's just started to use one at school. I must say until now it's been spot on. I've only had to replace the PSU last year. I'm looking at building myself a PC sometime next year but for now this is a quick fix. |

Entirely up to you what you wnt to do mate. But as for purchasing a system which has probably come from either curry's,comet, or pcworld, Complete waste of time, im not surprised you had to replace te PSU either mate, in fact, i wouldn't even be surprised if the PSU you replaced was a bestec PSU. Although these generally were used within emachines. For future reference, i'd always find a local reputable seller to build you a PC from scratch. They will always use a high standard of component, And build it around how you wish to use the computer. www.overclockers.co.uk www.scan.co.uk www.web-systems.co.uk 3 reputable seller's here, for me i personally always use overclockers. But thats my own personal preference. Speak to expert's, not deskperts!! Regards |

Building a comp is not hard at all and its very simple.
Just tell me which kind of machine you want and what specs your after and I will build you a list of parts and then you can order it and build it yourself (DIY) Its as easy as ABC.

building a computer is not hard at all .
getting the correct matched parts and setup right is the art of it . ive seen loads of computers built within the last 10 years without raid setup . i cant believe people dont take full advantage of the equipment they buy . |
