Default How to stop box freezing

On my experience its has nothing to do with the speed you could have as little as 2mb broadband it will be fine now I know you are laughing at this point but you will not regret on my advice.
Most of the lad’s boxes cause of freezing and stopping between some channels are your wireless router because I wanted to prove on the day I changed 3 router 1st 54mb 2nd 150mb and 3rd the best one I never looked back when I changed to TP Link 320mb router, the cause of freezing stopped and any member of your family use wireless laptop the router should able to keep the flow in balance simple as that.

tbh, wireless technology isn't a particularly good idea for 'critical' packet delivery. Dealing with the 'internet' delivery is bad enough without adding yet another flaky delivery medium on top !

hi guys, get the best speed that you can, i use 50mbps virmin, tell them that you have 2 cosoles running, ie ps3 & xbox 360. these are time critical. they put you on a gamer profile. get the odd freeze now and again but it is down to a number of things. dosn't help when the kids are hammering you tube, lol

down to qos, ping and the speed of the dns your using.

signal levels to your modem might affect so make sure you got good cable.

as per TheCoder, get wired connections, dont rely on wireless
