Go into menu, user installation then in timer settings press the yellow button ...this will do a power scan ...or just the red button if you just want it to update ie look for any missing channels ... sounds to me like you just want to do an update (red button) this will keep any channels you already have working .....

Hi, thanks for the suggestion but I cannot find the menu button beginning to think I am stupid! it is not on the remote or on the box - sorry to be a bother but need more help - thanks anyway

The elusive button is the sixth down on the left ...to the left of the upwards facing arrow and just above the left facing arrow its blue ....

I am sure this is causing you all a lot laugh's - sixth button down on the left - so I have TV, box office, tv guide, volume control and the sixth button is text??? is my remote that old? then under text I have the red button - well I may be old but I am not colour blind yet - and still have a sense of humour.

Looks like we are talking about different remotes here Sue, the one I have is a black one for the Euro-Vox MaxV (that is printed on the bottom) it has no number I can give you for reference ....

No have not found the right button - my husband suggested a few but they are not printable! It is a SKY remote. I suppose if someone can come up with frequencies we can go through the long job of adding channels....
