a few daft questions coming up.
Eurovox 3 thouroughly recommended.
Did powerscan initially when purchasing box(march 2006) got all channels required.
I have done autoscans since to try and update channels,such as today with the movie channels,successfullyMy problem is that I understand you can update the software within the box to get other channels, i.e setanta 2 which i am not getting, but i dont have a clue how to do this , in fact i am afraid i may lose existing channels if i try to do anything that I am not sure about.
Sorry about this ,i certainly understand that there are a lot of knowledgeable people on here and these queries might be basic, but although i have had my eurovox max 3 for over a year now i have never done any sort of software update and was wondering if this was usual, and is it easily done as my pc and tv are not close together in the house, do they need to be?

The only real update is an improvement to the epg,doesnt affect the performance of your box as far as Im aware.You dont need the box to be connected to your tv to update,just a null modem(RS232)to your serial port of your PC.You will find the update on the G Mail drive (feb2007_bluebox)StevieG

When I flashed mine, it was a definate improvement in performance. On the old firmware, I used to get regular crashes/green screen, snce flashing a month ago it has worked flawlessly.

Can anybody tell me the firmware for a Eurovox Max 3 2006 and 2007 boxes please.
There are some in files and fixes but what is the correct one?
