Default Quick question, need a quick answer please

Hi if I buy a Starview HD Combo+ second hand, then will it work for me on the cable side through my internet or once its been activated on cable side it will only work through the IP address it was activated on?

Need a quick reply please, thanks

dont buy 2nd hand m8 they may tell u they only just boughht it and really they may of had it 11 month so u to ask yerself unless its sale of the century at 1- or summat then i wud leave it well alone m8

out of interest how much were you being offered the box for?

give the kryptview ago - its easy to put firmware on and setup - been brilliant for me and well worth the £150 brand new!

It don't matter now...found out that the box was the non LAN version...thanks for ur replys...and if I wanna buy a box tht will go offline in the future and leaving me with a dead cable box I think I'll go for the cheaper Starview :-)

I have heard on the euroview it tells you how long you have left on the server and they are going to release new firmware for the older boxes to tell you how long you have left.

Thats good news as it will tell us how long we got on the boxes we are using are you sure there will be out the new firmware cheers for the info mate.I like to know this,do we need to load the firmware on to the box so it tells us how long we got.
