can link my sb5100 to my router

sorry if this is in the wrong thread but here we go,
right i just got my sb5100 bk online and working, problem is this is without my router in when it works fine, then when i try and plug in my router i get a limited connectivity error onn my desktop pc but the wireless is working ok as i can surf the net on my ipod thru wireless, it just dosent want to pick it up on my desktop, then when i take my router out and connect the modem directly to the desktop it works fine again, does anyone know why this is happening so to sum it up

modem to pc direct - works
modem to pc thru router - limited connectivity on desktop but working wifi

Try going into the gui of your router and cloning the nic mac of your pc,that should sort you out.
